NEET-UG Exam Eligibility Criteria 2024

Before submitting their application, candidates must meet the NEET eligibility criteria 2024. The criteria for NEET 2024 are as follows:
  • Candidates from India or outside must take NEET exam in order to get enrolled to medical university in India.

  • Age Limit: The NEET exam has a 17-year-old minimum age requirement as of December 31 of the admission year. The NEET exam has no upper age limit.

  • All India Quota seats: Foreign nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), NRIs, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) is entitled to the reservation under 15% All India Quota seats. Candidates from J & K are ineligible for 15% of the available seats.

  • Qualification: Students who have either passed or who are appearing in 12th or equivalent are eligible to apply for NEET-UG 2024.
    • Passed B.Sc. with any two of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Bio-technology from an Indian University.

    • Passed the first year of three years' degree course in PCB

  • Number of Attempts: Candidates can attempt NEET multiple times until they reach the maximum age limit.
